thank you very much for sharing this gem with us TFEC.

i just dont know how i deserved you dedicate this seed to Bengo and especially me.
since i am very inactive the last year. but of course thx for this too.

and yes this is one reason we established this side to find the best we can get from our hero and of course real gems like this

we even would like to offer our help for people with no skills or equipment for digitizing their material to pass over to one of our specialists for a secure preservation of their treasures.

thx again sharing with us!!

Zappateers!

That's for sure. I know we discussed this before, and should make a formal post about it. I have not had much input lately into this subject, sorry about that. I am contacted now and then (just contacted about transferring Madison Symphony Orchestra).
All unsolicited, i keep thinking what will get if we solicite?

I've been listening to it several times today, and I'm as amazed as everyone else. If I'd be pressed to write a wish list of concert material to surface, good sounding recordings from Royal Albert Hall 6/6/69 would be very near the top - especially the chamber music stuff. Huge thanks for this seed! headbanger

Huh? I thought the Chamber music was a studio session! I downloaded Royal Albert audience, but I haven't listened yet, so I can't tell...
Sure there are a few studio overdubs Wink

PS: I wish Frank had released this stuff! It's simply fantastic! I played it 5 times today!

Well, you may be right... when I heard FZ's Royal Albert Hall introduction, and then recognized the beginning of Chamber Music #1 as part of "Little Chamber Music I Used To Play", (a piece which I will always associate with that show), my mind sort of stuck in the RAH. But admittedly, the ambiance is more studio-like.

Yeah Jon - only the Intro and Ballet stuff is from RAH. The rest is studio - in the vein of Burnt Weeny Sandwich. I didn't notice until near the end of the acetate!
