Thanks! I have this listed as 1973-04-24.. and I have no clue where I found that bit of information Laughing

EDIT: Here we go: http://www.beefheart.com/zigzag/articles/peelie.htm I've not listened to it, but the length matches.

Thanks for the info! Hey I found i have another copy of this, and it may be better, so I'm going to stop a bit and check, if so, I will redo torrent with better copy...sorry, this was a pure accident I found another copy, didn't know I had it!

update:

It about the same, so no need to do another. I had it at the end of another Beefheart tape i was doing for a friend, was not marked, when i a/b both copies, they were the same.
It's so close I may do the 2nd copy, let you decide, not that long...
Also it would be really nice if you guys can stay on and feed once we get a seed, so I can transfer more Zappa material for the sample process...I need to shut all down when transferring.

Thx; any upgrade of this is welcome, but please seed the missing 5.4 % of this torrent that. So we can compare both copies if you wanna redo.

Does anyone have the 1971 WMMR interview? I have a copy but it's cut and incomplete.

Many thanks for upping this interview. I recently finished reading John Peel's (auto)biography, and it's clear that Peel and Don must have hit it off together. I was wondering whether any of his interviews with the Captain were still around.

I think I remember also reading that Peel interviewed Frank at some point? Do any of those still exist?

Hopefully some Peel collector has them, I have not seen or heard any. The first time many of us in the Detroit area saw Frank was on Swingtime a Canadian TV show from our sister city Windsor, Ontario. It was around 1967. CKLW also owned an AM station that help introduce Motown music to the world. Frank was interviewed on the station. I would love any items from CKLW concerning Frank.

Update:
I did a search on my list for Peel, and didn't get a hit, but doing a search for BBC I did, so i may have some Peel interviews, let you know...
