Florence Marly- Space Boy
Recorded May 1965, Del Kacher's Studio LA
Intended for use in the 1966 movie Queen Of Blood (a.k.a. Planet Of Blood), but never used
FZ is commonly credited with Drums and Orchestration on this track

This track is presented as a sonic upgrade over the versions found on Mystery Box (track 0316) and Gaumacoma (track 2).

Enjoy!— progrockfan

Was it? The timeframe is right, but the storyline doesn't match.

The song was reportedly used in the 1973 short film Space Boy, also starring Florence Marly. That film has a plot matching the song.

I wonder if she wrote the song as a sort of spin-off of her character in QOB but never intended it for use in the Harrington film, and then eventually she managed to develop the song into a short film.

To me, one of the strangest Zappa-related tracks ever. Only heard the version on the Mystery Box and wondered what the hell I was listening to. Great to have it in better quality. Thanks very much!!!

Does anyone know if this was really recorded in May 1965? Roman's site has it listed as late 1966.
