Here’s the instrumental acetate demo version of Lumpy Gravy, which has been seeded here before, but the samples jury judged this to be the best version we have. It’s allegedly 1st gen, and it’s from one of my most trusted sources.
There was much speed fluctuation between the start and end of the sides, but it turned out to be more or less linear, so a simple pitch bend worked fine to these ears. Thanks to Flambay for pitch adjustment advice.
Lineage: Demo acetates->(reel?) tape->CDR->EAC->SoundForge (normalizing, speed correction)->FLAC Frontend

Each upgrade of this is pretty cool. Thanks Yojimbo!
May I ask the experts how the acetate compares to the 8 track tape? I never have seen any discussion about it http://www.lukpac.org/~handmade/patio/vinylvscds/lumpy_gravy.html#capitol8track
I'm quite curious, does anybody have it or listened to it (or even traded)?

Thanks again Yojimbo! Amazing to have an upgrade of this rarity.
I seem to remember the other seed having two single edits. Are they widely circulated?
Kind regards,
Overnitefreak

The Sink Trap/Gypsy Airs acetate has been in wide circulation for a long time, yes.
