I have viewed the partially downloaded concert and I cannot believe the audio-STEREO!!.I have never heard a stereo version of this concert. There were so many songs performed in this show that were never released on CD.It's great to hear them in this quality. This is torrent of the year for sure.

Yep, a nice surprise. Apart from the repair in Packard Goose (approximately 14:40>15:05 mono TV source) the sound is in ac3 surround sound stereo format. Very Happy

I have questions on this release. I have the vhs as well, from the beginning with the montage of FZ backed by Peaches to the believed ending, Illinois Enema Bandit. THe only issue in mine is the commercial snip from Coca Cola at the biginning of Planet.
I needed no fills but a possible fix over that commercial. I didnt know there was one more song, which is why I will download this to check it out.
SInce I bought the tape near 90 or so, and had played it way too many times, the quality has degraded. When I aquired a dvr, I digitized it a middle quality, which is 7314 kb a sec, (set by the manufacturer, not me), and it is fantastic. With the blessings or not of some, I then re-encoded the video to set the black/white balance and nearly got it back to great. (When I say nearly, I got white and black back, restoring colors, but there is an overall cast to every scene of whatever the predominant color light was in the scenes, like a haze). The audio I didnt have to touch except a slight adjustment near 60-120 for the low groundloop-ish sounding buzz.
With the menu, it fits on one NTSC dvd fine.

Let me check out this release against mine, I may release my version next. For those who have ever visited killuglyradio forums, which I found prior to the zappateers goldmine, I had released it there, along with 73 sweded, 74 kcet-la, 78 munich and 81 mtv.

I realise and whole haertedly support the concept of not editing the original material, but I did on the video end, as I have the tools to do so, and old vhs to digital is not to pretty of a sight. WHen I discover a long lost copy of the 68 beat club vhs I forgot I had, with other 60's related materials, the transfer needed no help, that tape had only 2 runs, when recorded, and once watched.

I will get back to this topic after I finish the download and do a comparison.

trigger, don't use the IP adress, use www.zappateers.com instead, since everything works best that way Wink

just cut and pasted it out of my address bar

doesn't it merely by-pass the DNS look-up? when my provider was having DNS software problems it seemed to locate faster using the IP address -

sorry, point noted
