Found this photo on Ebay. It's listed as "Hollywood '73", and Ray Collins is obviously guesting. Can't find any info of him appearing on these concerts, and there aren't any recordings, as far as I can tell. Anyone with more info?

interesting. Ponty's presence places it somewhere between February and May of 1973, if this is from Hollywood. If it wasn't for Ponty, i would have placed it in late 1973, because Frank seems to be wearing the same clothes (or at least very close to) he wore at the Roxy.

They played the Hollywood Palladium on the 23 and 27 of march, with Ruben And The Jets as support.

It´s from 1973/03/23 - Hollywood Palladium - LA.

Find this pic with Ricky Lancelotti on stage as well:

We've had discussions on this photo before and some thought it may be Tom Fowler with the violin, not Ponty… Although having said that it obviously IS Ponty in the first photo.....

Yes, the photo with Ray Collins has Tom Fowler playing bass and Ponty violin, while I think the photo with Lancelotti has Fowler holding the violin and that might be Ponty in the background near Ruth.

JLP must be playing vibes, as he does on the blues jam on 73/06/29 Melbourne. Ian is playing George's keyboards.

Speaking of "guests". I remember reading somewhere that Robert "Froggie" Camarena from Ruben & the Jets was at some 1975 concerts, as guest or member of the band (?) I don't see him mentioned on the FZ shows.....

He did some uncredited overdubs on Bongo Fury, and was in the proto fall '75 lineup heard on Joe's Camouflage. He wasn't at any shows unless I'm forgetting something.

Does anyone know if there's a comprehensive list of guests anywhere? I've got a vague memory I've seen one somewhere...

Looks like 1975 or 1976 and the saxophone player Camarena hmm
