Here's another nice FM bit from my analog archives. FZ stopped by WBCN in the early AM hours after his concert and played two songs from the soundboard tape, which has otherwise not circulated (although an audience recording does). Some speed fluctuations, but otherwise this sounds great, although if anyone has a better version feel free to speak up.

FZ gives the title of his next album (which we know as Sheik Yerbouti) as Martian Love Secrets. Persona Non Grata is quite similar to the "Third Movement of Sinister Footwear" solo from two nights later.

26-Oct 1978, WBCN, Boston, MA
* = from 25-Oct 1978, North Shore Coliseum, Danvers MA

Unknown gen FM>SONY deck>Realtec AC 97 Soundcard>Goldwave
(recording, Timewarp to 106%)>CDWAV (tracking)>FLAC Frontend 8>FLAC

01. Intro
02. Persona Non Grata *
03. Band Intros *
04. Interview
05. City Of Tiny Lites *
06. Outro

Thanks, Pat. I almost forgot about this. It's floating around on one of my tapes unlabeled.

My copy sounds a bit dull. I'll try it. Might be an upgrade.

Oops almost forgot. Thank you!

Ahhh.... back when 'BCN was happening. Charles Laquidara, Mark Perrenteau, "Carlos", etc.

Sadly, now all they play is a lot of garbage (IMO). Thanks for the tape, Pat.

Rough 'n' Rare! This is another 'must have' for the two songs played alone. But Frank's chatting about the lawsuits with Warner Brothers etc is priceless.
Many Thanks Pat. Jim.
