Disclaimer: this is for crazy, incurable completists. Without a doubt the worst show from the 1984 band: the sound is very very bad!!

Still reading? OK. Here is what Jon Naurin says:

8-Aug 1984, Northrop Memorial Auditorium, Minneapolis, MN
110 min, Aud, C+
Heavy Duty Judy, Joe's Garage, Why Does It Hurt When I Pee?, Tinseltown Rebellion, More Trouble Every Day, Penguin In Bondage, Hot Plate Heaven At The Green Hotel, Dumb All Over, Cocaine Decisions, Nig Biz, Outside Now, Be In My Video, Honey Don't You Want A Man Like Me?, Carol You Fool, Chana In De Bushwop, Let's Move To Cleveland, Dinah-Moe Humm, Cosmik Debris, Sharleena, Whipping Post

You'll be entertained by:
Frank Zappa - guitar, vocals
Chad Wackerman - drums
Robert Martin - keyboards, tenor saxophone, French horn, vocals
Scott Thunes - bass
Ray White - guitar, vocals
Ike Willis - guitar, vocals
Alan Zavod - keyboards

This is exactly 107 min 20 s. Thanks T for providing the show. Lineage unknown. Or if you really want a lineage:
Aud >? > wav (iTunes) > partly retracked with Amadeus II > flac (xACT)

You'll find a picture of the venue here: http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=2592&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30

Not a completist [got Zeppelin blood in my veins] so will avoid, but is this just the worst sound, or a sub-par performance [God forbid!!] ?

It's hard to tell about the show itself. Probably not a bad one. But the sound sucks!!!!

Ever heard a recording of Zeppelin in Tempe Arizona in 77 ?

Pretty dire sound, and an absolutely legendary shit performance. Jimmy Page is so off his face he gets lost and launches into Kashmir with the rest of the band playing catchup 5 seconds later...hilarious stuff.

Once the Zappa poodle bites, there is no cure. Until recently, the disease was thought to have been transmitted from kissing frogs with dirty (little) lips. Through the frightening tools that science has made available and the production of multiple evil prince charmings, a notable Jewish princess was able to deBunkgardner this notion. Other clinicians almost identified the source of the plague when they noted that most all of the afflicted had come in contact with dog breath. Like the infections that follow a flesh wound inflicted by a weasel, the disease is communicable. This, however, won't prevent you from entering the United States, where everyone drinks and goes home. Spread of the disease happens most frequently while pursuing aural gratification in social settings. Other vectors for the mystery resease have been toilet seats, pigs, ponies, and zircon encrusted tweezers (thank you very much). Some have called the malady a torture of the ear (that never stops). Unlike the aural torture that Bedrich Smetana started experiencing in 1874, the poodle bite causes a ceaseless aural longing (not unlike a Sheik looking for water or at least an icepick in the forehead). Some have sought relief by using the chicken to measure, while others have put black and pink napkins on, moved to Montana, where they took "good jobs" working at gas stations. These treatments, while effective at first, often result in the creation of an asshole as a result of heartbreak.

The Zappateer treatment has been recognized in the field as perhaps the most effective in treating the affliction (not to be confused with time), which many perceive as an addiction. The treatment is pleasurable though not without certain side effects. Side effects include, generosity, gratitude, consumption of network bandwidth, a desire to congregate with other victims, and general feelings of heartfelt cameraderie (except where certain practitioners of Ninjitsu are concerned). Four out of five evil princes recommend the Zappateer treatment for their patients who choose cheese (not the shredded cheese as discussed last Sunday).

Thank you for this recording. Thanks to each and every one of you for helping me to survive the poodle bite comfortably.
