Ok Joe. Halloween has come and gone. Time to tell us what we have to look forward to this December!

Not sure if it has been solidly implied that this is another big set like Halloween 77 but Id take something like that (of course) or be super stoked for the promised Wazoo/Jawaka outtakes set. But knowing that that will come out eventually, Im even more excited for a totally unexpected release.

Spill the beans ZFT!

Would love a deluxe Hot Rats with everything recorded during the sessions and some live stuff from the era (Sept. '69 - July '70).

Still no official concert with Sal Marquez, so my wishes for a next release are for the Australian 73 tour, a complete box will be perfect.

I doubt that Giraffe was performed in 1971. And they just released a 1970 Road Tapes.

I'm itching for official news about the December release. Most of the suggestions here sound great to me, as I'm a big fan of Hot Rats and Grand Wazoo.

Early '74 with Jeff Simmons. Or a box of the '74 European tour.

And yeah, news of an upcoming Road Tapes would be wonderful.

I've been rambling about this for years and years, but I would absolutely LOVE to have the "Any Kind Of Pain" solos collection.

A sort of SU&PYG set.

A bit redundant, I know. But I don't care.

Yes but I'm talking about the Marquez/Ponty band.

Don't forget - in some interview or another - FZ said that he had a ''whole tours worth of tapes from 1973/4 and 1980 still sealed with the gaffer tape the engineer used on the night''.... Maybe we'll get something from that?

Edit: I've looked for that interview but had no luck.... I did find a quote from another ''Road Tapes wish list thread'' that references it: here

Groening: You said it was a surprise how much musical material you have. Have you listened to everything you've recorded?

Zappa:No. I've got reels of tape in the vault that still have the original silver gaffer's tape from the night that they were stuck in the box at the end of a gig and haven't even been opened. Virtually the entire 1980 tour, which was recorded eight-track, is untouched by human hands. The '73-'74 tour with Ruth, and Chester, and George Duke, the bulk of those tapes from the United States and Europe, they're all four tracks, are untouched.

i am hoping for an Xmas '76 boxset. In fact, i suspect that they're working on one based on the snippets from that run that popped up on the Kickstarter updates. It's not necessarily evidence that they are, but i have a feeling.
