There was also another book, I think written by a fellow Zappateer, about the 88 Bickering. Anyone have a line on it?

Greenaway, Andrew. 2010. Zappa The Hard Way. Bedford, UK: Wymer Publishing.

I am almost positive that was the title - thank you !!

Will there be any 'unseen' photos?

All photos ever taken will be unseen inside my book, I'm afraid.

Maybe on the cover.

I'm sorry to hear that, as I'm already planning at least one more (which my publisher is eager to publish).

Don't forget us in the rest of the world... http://chartsbin.com/view/jqg

New Star is publishing the North American edition on Canadian/US Mother's Day. I don't know if there will be other editions from other publishers for other markets.

Too early to call now of course, but if there is no European edition going to be printed, we can plan to get a bulk shipment over here to fulfill Zappateers demand, and into the Arf shop at Zappanale 2018 too.

I enjoyed this teaser. I like it when I learn that a screen-name is someone whose authority on the subject I was already well aware. drdork's posts will always carry more weight for me now.

Apologies if this an obvious question, but in your link I can't find any sort of blurb about what the scope of this book is? From the excerpt, I get a sense of the format -- I love the amount of detail about each song and how it relates to FZ's activities at the time, incorporating his quotes, and the inserts, etc (by the way, you may have already caught this, but in case not -- the first part of the Stravinsky insert has the the lower-hanging letters cut off on the last line, like the "p" in "purely" and "y" in "your") -- but for example, will this book cover all his albums this way? Or just the early Mothers stuff? (and your mentioned other book in the works will perhaps pick up where this one left off?)

I will be buying this!

His informative posts are always top-notch, it's his jokes you've got to be careful of........
