A Zappa Wiki Jakka states that Beefheart is on Zappa's tune San Ber'dino (as found on One Size Fits All; Strictly Commercial; or on The Best of FZ).

Well, I have given this a listen and cannot hear the good Cap'n.

Pure error on somebody's part?

Without looking, I seem to remember he's credited as Bloodshot Rollin' Red instead of the Captain or Don.

Well the album credits DO say: ''Harmonica when present''...

There's harmonica all over "San Ber'dino" but it's mixed in there with approximately 50 guitar tracks so you may miss it at first listen. Sounds like an accordion, almost - I think he was using a tremolo harmonica.

Thanks for the clue, Choppadoo. Your comment about it sounding like an accordion was really helpful. It especially sounds like that at the start. With my headphones I was able to hear the other harp licks but as you point out they are buried pretty deep. It would be cool to be able to do my own mix and bring the harp forward.
