I had setup with a tri-pod in the back of the venue in a raised seating area. It quickly became evident that there were going to be obstructions at times with people on the floor. After moving the tri-pod a few times, I decided to move to the bar area to the left of the stage using a mono-pod. (The same location I used to film The Ed Palermo Big Band with Mike back in 1998. Everyone has that show, right? If not you should.)

Ed Palermo Big Band - 1998 08 16 Pennsylvania MI Mini-DV MC (Early days of my seeding. I would save to a specific location, do not use default location)

I would eventually move to other areas of the venue, as you will see. Eventually back to the tri-pod, then back to the floor with the mono-pod.

I have inserted frame captures to mask the ugliness of the tri-pod/mono-pod switch overs. There are 3 instances, and each is less than a minute, so hang in there.

Syncing of the FLAC files was an issue. After the first track, all files required Pitch adjustment. This varied track to track. I normally leave the audio as is, but it lacked any bass, so I did some EQ'ing on the low ends to bring them up.

Thanks to Blackpage for his input, and helping with the seeding of this!

Enjoy!
Lagz

Great work on this Lagz, thanks for taking the time to make this so cool. Much work involved. And so worth it, the band are really having fun, even breaking out a new song with "Roll".

Thank you very much for this MK stuff Mr Lagz, I'm very grateful, since this was exactly what I was hoping to get! MK touring with his own Band has become such a rare event in between his other jobs maybe it's worth collecting each one of these events ...
Well, watching the Plains show I thought this must be high time to upload the Walldorf 2016/06/13 show (with Jaan Wessman, bass + Schroeder, drums) which I was lucky to film with a friend. I want to share that one with the handful of MK enthusiasts on this tracker, which has taken a few months of preparation, since Andreas (the camera operator) didn't find much time to cut a 2-cam-version from the raw footage. The work has been finished now, and I mastered a 2-DVD-Version from this very long show.

Setlist:

(Set 1 - acoustic)

Splane
5 Legs
Hello
1988 Was A Million Years Ago
Blameless
I Was Not Ready For You
Don't You Ever Learn (T. Rundgren)
Career Politicians
Hallmark
Sam
Cliché (T. Rundgren)
Rosemary Girl

(Set 2 - electric)

My Dilemma
Father's Day
We'll Be Right Back
Roots Twist
Killer Fish
I Can't Stop
Joe
Aye Aye Monster
Skull Bubbles
Skunk
Top Of Stove Melting
No Language In Our Lungs (A. Partridge) featuring Sebastian Rueger
Car Song
Inca Roads
Cowlogy

You can watch the 2-cam-version on YouTube if you like (unlisted links):

Set 1 (complete): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU5kMAsh7BM
Set 2 (complete): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkMzPurrzxI

(Note: These are not the 'preview'-1-cam-versions I released earlier on my YouTube-Channel, which had audio problems)

Hope I'll manage to upload this stuff as my first torrent here next weekend ...

Hey Lagz and all else involved in recording and sharing this brand new Mike Keneally and BFD... on Blu-ray to make it even more better!
I really miss Mike. I haven't seen him in too long! He's such a kind and generous person and he's also one hell of a guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist and composer too!
This show took place on my 53rd birthday. The show from Upstairs at Nick's on October 25, 1998 also was on my birthday! I wish I could have been at both but at least I have your video recordings to enjoy!
Thanks again for recording and sharing this and of course thanks to Mike for his music!!!

PS - Here's a picture of me and Mike from August, 2015
