This is a new LP transfer with better equipment than before -
and this time in the correct speed!

It's the cleanest Thing-Fish premix source available.
It also has the complete "Teenage Wind" that doesn't fade out.
However, this boot was pressed in the early 90s, I think it's
safe to assume that it could be taken from low generation tapes.

Description:

It's the cleanest Thing-Fish premix source available.
It also has the complete "Teenage Wind" that doesn't fade out.
However, this boot was pressed in the mid 80s, I think it's
safe to assume that it could be taken from low generation tapes.

The Bootleg-LP (source: lukpac.org)
It says it was produced by The Evil Prince for Evil Productions.
It says the cover (a pasted-on black & white xerox copy of a
picture of a nude lady holding a suitcase, a surrealistic kind
of plant and a small picture of Zappa) was made by Joseph Seeso.
It says "Modelling by Lady Bi". The vinyl sides are referred to
as Faces 1-2. The album has been characterised as "a real gem",
and the material is quite different from the finished Thing-Fish.

Wouldn't it be amusing if that was the zappateer formerly known as The Evil Prince?!

Oh, and thanks!

Interesting is the fact that Jimmy Carl Black, Denny Walley and maybe some others, are not
mentioned in the lineup. (However, this lineup is an exact copy of the original bootleg insert.)

The same is true of the official Thing-Fish booklet, which only lists the musicians on the newly-recorded material.

Yes, good point, but what about Arthur Barrow in this list? Was he on the newly-recorded material too?
