My latest accomplishment, from Ebay. Very Happy

Including Vol 5 and 6, both are the originally USA Rykodisc releases.

Vol 1 to 4 are additionally purchased Zappa Records releases, made in France.

------------------------------------------------------------

Infos from www.discogs.com:

Release contains:
2xDeep-jewelcase double CDs, of YCDTOSA 5 & 6, issued with a purple wooden 'road case' (21x14.5x15cm)
with metal corner protectors. The top of the case has
"Zappa - You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore Vols. 1 Thru 6"
screen-printed in white & yellow text. This case was sold together with the release of Volume 5 & advanced-issue
of Vol 6 in the series - the latter only available as a pre-release bonus when bought with this special packaging.

The 2-sided magenta-on-white print-sheet of this reads;
"You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore
Plus almost free* FZ road case (worth a big gob of money: $19.95 suggested retail price - empty) for all the
volumes of this mammoth live retrospective". "Is this yet another high-level, underhanded, corporate scheme to
induce you to retro-fit your CD library and buy all the volumes in the series by offering you an extremely
collectible item? You betcha. ..."

Manufactured and printed in the USA.
FZYCDTOSA (WAB)

& ℗ 1992 Barking Pumpkin Records Box Package 1992 Rykodisc

The reverse of the sheet has "FZ on CD" and a list of FZ recordings, inc YCDTOSA Vols 1 to 4,
plus the "FZ 25" icon and contact details.

5000 of these 'road case' boxes were produced.

Both Volume 5 & 6 were subsequently released as stand-alone catalog items.
(US cat#s RCD 10089 / RCD 10090 & RCD 10091 / RCD 10092)

I know, but thanks for the info.

This was sadly not included in this Ebay item. Sad

For collectors surely a must have too, but you can't have everything. Wink

I think there was also another sticker (see attachement)

Got mine from G & S in the early 90's too. (it was the only way to get Vols 5 & 6 at the time IIRC... and boy was I glad I got Vol 5!)
The only problem with mine is the spaces for Vols 3 & 4 are a very tight fit and the paint has worn off a bit. I also threw away the info sheet Shocked as I thought it made the box look cheapo (and I think it was very slightly bigger than the box - which annoyed the fuck out of me..)

Yes, the build is a little bit rough - but after all it's a "Road-Case". Very Happy
