I have had this as a really bad mp3-Rip ( puke ), much better now! party2

The Show is a little short on Seeders, so I will host it for a while.

Story Of Dupree's Paradise (NYC, 22-Nov 1973, late show)

I haven't listened to the Un-Concert very often, but I'm listening to Berkeley 2/16/74 at the moment, and I'm fairly certain that the Dupree's Paradise story actually comes from that show.

anyone else have any info?

Pretty sure the story is from the NYC show Yojimbo mentions, although FZ told a similar story about the Dupree's bar on 2/16/74, and several other shows from those two tours.

FZ made some edits for this "Un-concert" broadcast, but the performance is definitely the same as the Avery Fischer Hall concert of 11-22-73 (late). You are right though, FZ does make a lot of the same references at the Berkeley show.

Thanks, Yojimbo! Though I took the liberty of (re)joining 5 & 19 (Be-Bop Tango) cooler and deleting that idiot announcer who only told us what Uncle Frank had already said in the band intros and was obviously having difficulty speaking half-decent English... Rolling Eyes Once he was gone, it really improved!!

Hey folks, I just picked this wee gem from Dime [sorry people, I didn't know it existed until I saw it there!] Is there any artwork 'out there' for it? Smile

this recording sounds great. really dig Dog Meat and Dummy Up. Penguin in Bondage is interesting. Was this version used in Roxy and Elsewhere?

Certainly a different solo. As far as I could tell last time I listened, the vocal sections also didn't match (most of the R&E verses are from May 74, except for the first half of the "shake up the pale dry ginger ale" verse where Ruth plays) but I would encourage others to check into it.
