Now I see the writing on the wall. Please keep doing what you're doing because this is something I have wanted to do but never got around to doing. the only one I did was took all the Thing Fish out takes and tried to mash them altogether to make it a couple hours of greatness. I hope to see soon what else you will offer up next.
Thanks a million

Been listening to Yo.Mama endlessly... I always wonder why this isn't considered one of the forbidden pieces like ZA, BN and WIEH. They are great but really they are a little more obvious and pretty in the FZ world.

Yo Mama is a beast in 3 movements that leaves FZ hanging out naked starting with nothing leading to an incredibly grand and victorious ending. How he could do this night after night is an amazing artistic statement on many levels.

I wasn't going to comment but since the glove has already been thrown down and such a response has been anticipated...I'd love to be so vacuous as to resign myself to the illusion that "if I don't like it I, just don't take it and be happy" is ok. After all, only a fool fights city hall. Just shut up and play my guitar, right?

In this era of huge collections of complete concert recordings and the ability to make playlists it is abusive to the material already available to make these types of compilations, so there is a reason to complain about them, but keep telling yourself that it's ok because people like them and need to have them just like those wonderful Greatest Hits albums of the 70's that made sitting through all the boring stuff unnecessary. After all it's 2015, context is overrated and doesn't matter anymore. Is it really the goal of Zappateers to provide consumer-oriented products like this?

No, it's not personal but yes, it matters.

My sentiments exactly. Wink

If today consumers were really oriented towards products like this I think we may reasonably call this planet a "nice and cozy place where to live"

I'm afraid the average contemporary consumer is more oriented towards Justin Bieber and One Direction

Very Happy

I've rarely heard such a crude and childish comment to a serious post. disbelief

But it's of course easy to put real issues in another context like "Justin Biber".

Sorry, didn't want to offend anyone.
Only to express a feeling such as "better FZ music in any form than the rest", in general (I didn't download these comps, like better the full shows; but some may like them)

Woah, Pitty, calm down. He was only saying that the "today's consumers" unfortunately wouldn't be into something "like this" because they are lacking in good taste these days. He was making a joke about the wording. There was no malicious intent.
