al fresco recording notes:
--------------------------
A little story that now I recall again clearly:

As I hope the security was going to be tight, previously in my hotel I had done a black cardboard to avoid that any light might be watched from the LCD of the camera & with black adhesive tape to cover the shining parts.

A few moments before the concert started, a Portuguese girl ( and this is true ) of Portuguese extraction;), who was about 6 meter from me... took from her bag a video camera and put it over the railing. I said, my God. Indeed, in ten seconds she was warned not to record & had to return the video camera to her bag. I felt uncomfortable ... I knew it had eyes for someone not far from me. I wasn't easy.

I was seated but filming at the level of my belly. Uneasy without watching what I was filming most of the time.

From time to time I had to look at the timings to know if a new file was going to be made up, or if I had to cut that theme sooner or wait until the end.

It was a continuous filming at full HD, so imply high rate of battery consuming, at every 15 minutes a new file is created and filming stops. So there are several cuts and I had to change batteries once, main cut in filming happened there.

screenshot.

Many thanks to Al Fresco for recording and sharing this and allowing me to work on it, thanks to Ob for the audio fills, and unicrayon for the ZT branding.

I recommend burning this to a BD-r and playing on a home system, or use PC/Mac/Media Player related software/hardware that handles BluRay menus.

Could someone author a DVD version, or an audio only version, for those of us without a Blu-Ray burner?

I don't have a Blu-Ray burner, but it plays great with VLC on my computer.

and i'm sure it would do the same for me, but i have no interest in a 22 gb file of audience captured video...

then again, i might have very little interest in a 4 gb file of the same materiel...
