~~The Complete Show, From Three Sources~~

The sound quality of this classic show is not fantastic, but it is quite listenable under the right circumstances - it's a raw, dirty recording of a raw, dirty performance! Three incomplete recordings have been combined here to form a continuous and complete show. I decided not to "remaster" any of this stuff because it doesn't improve the sound, it just makes it "different". The only exception is Track 15 which has a -12db decrease around 200Hz to remove a rather unpleasant bump in that area. I have elected to use the fill sources for entire tracks rather than making patchwork songs. All of the transitions from source to source happen during between-song crowd noise.

Main Source by unknown taper:
Unknown gen -> Wavelab 5 -> wav -> flac frontend -> flac (level 8)
Tape transfers & original upload by youngpumpkin

Fill Source 1 by Paul Brown (Tracks 01-04, 18):
2nd gen -> Wavelab 5 -> wav -> flac frontend -> flac (level 8)
Tape transfers & original upload by youngpumpkin

Fill Source 2 by Chris Jones (Tracks 11, 15):
Master audio cassette > Ampex R2R > cdr
Transferred by Graham Harper, who at the time was a BBC Studio Engineer
Edited and remastered by SIRMick

Mastered & edited by JWB with CoolEdit2.0

This Copy: 65.24, AUD, B+ stereo

According to the latest guidelines from the Site Administrators,
all CD covers shared as zip files should be placed in the thread of the relevant Show and no longer in Misc.
To comply with these provisions, this is the new link for the same CD covers
Thank you for your understanding

Thanks! I wonder if this is better quality than the terrible Ozits vinyl release from RSD.
