The other two versions are heavily EQ-ed.
At least this one isn't.

Same source. Sounding muffled without EQ.
Suffering from tape warbles (same as the other versions imho)

YW
yesterday, while listening to this tape rip, I eq-ed this to compare to the other versions (just add a lot of high frequencies). The result is Less hissy and quite listenable.

If I understand you correctly, your (this) torrent is whitout EQ? Just the transfer? hmm

yes, of course
I only eq-ed while listening.
Just wanted to know if my tape was that bad, or the others that heavily eq-ed.

This is the raw transfer

Very Happy

Are you really sure? If you listen from the beginning to the end, I think there are no additional bits of music/data.
I think the +1 minute results from the speed difference within the tapes.

Anyway, although "raw", seems that this one is from the same original master source as the other two ones ...

I was just going by the stated time difference but it's too bad there isn't extra material. Still, should be an interesting listen for comparison when I can get to it.

Thanks frank2441 for uploading this raw version here.

Unless a superior sounding version turns up
I think that we should go with this muffled sounding but raw version
rather than using one of the EQed copies (tranehead, erroneous).

FA difference visible here:
green line - tranehead EQed
blue line - erroneous EQed
dark line - peccary raw, muffled
