Further to the discussion in the shoebox thread here, I suspect that the mystery Studebaker Hoch section is indeed from one of the Fillmore shows in June. When compared to the Fillmore performance released on Playground Psychotics, there are some similarities:

1. In the section after the solo (5:16 - 5:29 here and 25:57 - 26:11 on PP) Aynsley plays a "motown-esque" pattern, with a snare on each beat and kick drum flams between. On Carnegie and the unreleased JABFLA 2nd disc, he plays a more standard rock beat: '...kick kick snare - kick kick snare - kick kick snare - big fill...' etc. A quick comparison of this section with the available versions on the tracker shows that all performances from May have the "motown" beat to some degree, whilst all performances from August onwards have the "rock" beat exclusively.

2. Jim Pons consistently fluffs the first bass note on the line "His peculiar attire…" (1:15 and 5:35 here; 21:25 and 26:17 on PP)

3. After Studebaker Hoch falls into Billy's mouth, there is no "I'm gonna need a truss/I broke my nuts!" punchline, and Mark Volman delivers a very reserved "Which only goes to show/prove" (7:45 here and 28:40 on PP). On JABFLA, Carnegie and all available tracker versions from August onwards, this exchange becomes more elaborate:

JABFLA (22:59) - Howard: "Oh Fuck, I'm gonna need a truss!"; Mark: "Oh, listen, that only goes to show you, and it'll show you once again that…"
Boston 1971-10-06 (32:28) - Howard: "Oh, I hurt my nuts!"; Mark: "Oh! That should show you, that should show YOU, that should show YOU, and YOU, and YOU, and each and every one of you that..."
Carnegie (2:31) - Howard: "Oh, I broke my nuts!"; Mark: "Oh! Well my friend, Studebaker that should go and show you, and that should show YOU, and YOU, and YOU, and YOU and each and every one of you here tonight that…"
Toronto 1971-10-13 (31:33) - Howard: "Oh, I broke my nuts!"; Mark: "Oh! And that should show you and (Howard c'mon over here!) that should show YOU, that should show YOU, and that should show each and every one of you here tonight that…"
Kansas 1971-10-23(L) (17:27) - Howard: "Aaargh! I think I broke my nuts!"; Mark: "Oh! Well let me tell you my friend Studebaker, I wanna let'm here to let you know, and I'm here to let YOU know, and I'm here to tell each and every one of you sitting in this audience tonight that…".

Can anyone shed more light on the presence of Bob Harris #1 here? I'm fairly sure we're hearing his electric piano (especially during and after the guitar solo) but that staccato, detuned keyboard panned to the right bothers me - it just sounds out of place and unnatural. An overdub? Or more likely the original 1971 keyboards fed through a filter during the mix? The stereo effects on the guitar solo sound a bit conspicuous too, suggesting this was mixed sometime later in the 1970s. Could this fragment be something that was intended for Bruce Bickford?

I guess it's possible that it was mixed in the late 70's, but the presence of overdubs would indicate that it was under serious consideration for the Fillmore album or possibly the next project which would become JABFLA. It also seems to come from a similar dubline as the 200 Motels demo, which would suggest that somebody tied to the Flo & Eddie period leaked both of them out at the same time.
