This is a new remaster of the "Decals" outtakes stash that I made for my own use, so I figured I would share it here. The instrumentals proper in this torrent are taken from this upload < http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=15027 > by jazzfan. The sound is excellent but the songs range from 4% to 8% too fast, something that has been noted by several folks. I speed corrected each song to run perfectly in sync with the official "Decals" CD on Enigma. So unless the CD is off speed, the pitch should be exact now. The only "problem" with this source is that the songs cut in and out abruptly, missing some in-between song banter and noises. These bits have been patched in from mcchocchoc's "Warner Outtakes" upload < http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=26058 > which sounds good at low volume during these bits, but becomes loud and overdriven in the music parts. There is also an ugly cut and some missing material towards the end of Track 03 of the "Warner Outtakes" source which renders the musical part of that track unusable. So the EQ, volume and speed were tweaked to match to the jazzfan source, and the "missing" banter was successfully spliced in. The outtakes portion of this set is taken from this upload < http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=11002 > by jazzfan which runs almost 10% too slow! As with the instrumentals, the EQ was improved and some additional bits were patched in from the "Warner Outtakes" set.

So now, excellent sound throughout, no peaks have been compromised, each track is as complete as possible, the instrumentals no longer sound like the chipmunks and the outtakes no longer sound like sludge rock!

Enjoy!
