--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LINEAGE
-----------
*Tape: BASF Chrome Super IEC II

except for tracks 01-03 where converting WAV to FLAC's been made with FREE AUDIO CONVERTER

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a small collection of undubbed FZ interview sequences taken from a german radio show

>>> NDR 4 'Nachtclub' - "Trouble everyday" - Frank Zappa; Ein Porträt in 5 Teilen
Several Dates 1997 229.40 FM (StrokeTheBoots) <<<

The Shoebox upload of this show can be found here:
http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?p=265878

The order of the files here only represent their order of appearance througout the 5 parts of the radio show.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

01 Debby & The Gulf War
02 The 'Debby Equivalent' of the Eastern Bloc
03 L.A. session musicians
04 Apparently, a world of dancing I don't do'
05 About using Country & Western
06 Brown lipstick
07 1991 06 xx Frankfurt a. M., DE - Real estate prices in L.A. and NY
08 'How could I ever start a new band'
09 'I like reggae music'
10 Remasters
11 Buying bootlegs

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With the exception of at least track 07 the sequences sound like they are from one interview.
Any help in researching the recording date is appreciated.

Chris

I asked the host of the show about the dates for tracks 1-7, 8 and 9 (I figured that the rest is from the Frankfurt press conference). He told me that an (unknown) employee of FZ asked the questions of this german radio journalist and taped it for him in late summer/early fall of 1991 (exact date is not known). Understandably, he is not willing to share the whole and undubbed interview, even not for a contribution Very Happy
