Ooooo, I'm gonna jump on this first!

Thanks so much to everyone for this one, but especially Flambay (as always) and my old tape-trading buddy Rob!

As we have discussed in this Samples thread
we will also upload later a 'darker' sounding version of this SBD recording,
less hissy, but also with less highs overall,
based on the tape copy contributed by JB
and also transferred by doctorzap
(Shoebox seed: http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=22647)

Hah, well said. Thanks everyone. I don't have a version of this band doing Wowie Zowie (in fact all I have is from FO and aaaf-etc.) - pretty funny and interesting 15 seconds, would love to hear more, wonder how long they went on.

Most other shows from this shortlived April/May 1974 tour do include a full (uncut) version of Wowie Zowie.

1974 05 10 Flint MI for instance, uploaded here a couple of days ago.

Thanks. I was just about to edit my post to ask about this exact time period with WZ. It almost looks like the only performer that bookends this April/May band is Ruth?

Thanks for providing me version #8 (and the upcoming #9) of this show, can't ever have too many.

All 7 of the shows I have from the April/May 1974 '10 year tour' include Wowie Zowie, btw.

Thank you. Without wanting to sound disrespectful or ungrateful, in case that this one is at this time the best sounding available version, then it might make sense to mention it in the description somewhere. I am downloading this one although I think that I got 2 previous sbd versions here already, 137:50 121:46, both described A-/B+. In brief, it looks as if the yield of this one results from the higher quality of the new transfer Ts01-18 with a Nakamichi Cassette machine, is this correct?
