Recently seeded over at DIME by rymzlo

http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=25176

Speed corrected (between -10cts and -35cts), re-tracked.
phase offset adjusted and digital glitches removed
for FZ Shows.

Very poor sound all over (C/C-),
probably for completists only.

F&E 1970... C/C- sound... no Call Any Vegetable, no King Kong, no Brain Police... a cut in Holiday in Berlin... who cares, it's still Zappa! Big thanks to the Dime uploader and to you, Mr. F, for spreading the love. Thank you, gents!

Despite the numerous reasons why this might not be desirable - I have 2 that prove otherwise:
1. It was recorded 6 miles from my house
2. It's Zappa!

many Thanks to all involved - yeeee haaaa!

I don't care if it's C/C-, I want to hear it at least once. I look on it like the "historical documents" in Galaxy Quest. Very Happy

It only means that some imagination must be used to make it get to your brain as a clear A Smile

Thanks!

Forgive my ignorance, but what do the units 'cts' mean with regard to speed correction?

It's an abbreviation for "cent", which in this case has nothing to do with the dollar. There are 100 cents in a semitone, 12 semitones in an octave.

I can only tell if off by 50 cents or more! Yeah cassettes are almost always off. Even most home decks had pitch issues. They should be calibrated once a year.
