Samples from 4 versions

This is probably one of the 1988 shows with the worst sounding copies around to choose between.

The only version currently up in Samples (OSFA-MrUMRK) turns out to be totally useless in parts
for having those annoying "faulty clicks" over most parts of that copy (see discussion in that thread),
due to bad "speed-but-no-pitch correction" or vice versa, somewhere in the process.

Thanks to Drew51 we can now present a choice of two other versions (none of them affected by these aforementioned faulty clicks issues),
partly from same master source origin as the OSFA copy,
but also including material missing there (possible patches).

Admittedly none of the versions sampled here are sounding terrific,
all of the material sampled here is sounding B-/C+ at best imho,
but we can at least avoid having to include any of the digitally affected material from the OSFA-MrUMRK copy.

Anyone with a different version from this show
they'd want to put up samples to compare against ?
Anyone really with a *B* sounding copy as mentioned in FZshows ??
Thanks for checking.

Samples posted here (from each version):
01 Black Page
02 City Of Tiny Lites FZ Solo > You Are What You Is
03 Crew Slut

The versions sampled here:
A - OSFA-MrUMRK (more samples: http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=15665)
B - Steve Hecht-Drew51 (Dolby ON) - same source as OSFA-MrUMRK, same tf cuts
C - Steve Hecht-Drew51 (no dolby)
D - Tim McG-Drew51 - probably same source, but different dubline, incl. possible patches to other versions

Looks like no one else is having any other version to add here.

IMO we should go on then with the snopes-Drew51 Dolby version (version B)
and include additional patches from the Tim McG-Drew51 copy (version D) (COTL and Crew Slut)

The final Crew Slut portion in the Tim McG copy (with different sound) (check sample)
has been added in from the 1988 06 07 Rome IT show
and should not be included with our FZ Shows seed of this Modena show.

Good catch on Crew Slut, i know others were thought fake. Why collectors would do that and think we could not tell is beyond me?

Just to let all know this is a rather poor tape, but will fill a long unfilled spot in the catalogue.
