Frank Zappa and
The Mothers Of Invention

Civic Center Arena
St.Paul, MN
1974 11 27

~~ from J.S. AUD Master tape ~~

While we're still trying to figure out (here and there in Samples)
which of the currently available "Dick Barber" SBD source versions of this show should go up in FZ Shows as our "definitive" version,
here's meanwhile an Audience sourced version of this same show (from J.S. Master tape),
including patches from that SBD source.

Sound of this AUD source in the B/B- range, parts sounding somewhat distant and/or distorted.

Recently contributed DR-1 transfer from Doctorzap
(orig. Shoebox seed: http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=23836)
now prepared for FZ Shows:
- right channel copied onto left channel (right channel mono > two channel mono)
- speed correction (entire transfer +40cts)
- tape flip cuts patched with material from robsam's SBD source copy

Current FZshows entry:
1974 11 27 - Civic Center Arena, St Paul, MN
125 min, SBD, A/A-

Tush Tush Tush, Stinkfoot (q: Big Swifty, Whipping Post), RDNZL, Village Of The Sun (q: Streets Of Cairo), Echidna's Arf, Don't You Ever Wash That Thing?,

improvisations (q: Zoot Allures), Oh No, Trouble Every Day (q: Rikki Don't Lose That Number)

This version: 130.33 min, AUD MC, B/B-

Source: Audience Master Tape

Recording Gear Info: Sony TC 152-SD deck / Sony ECM-23F mono

the distortion here is pretty much from the PA system

you can tell this because any talking or clapping is much more clear

Thank you JS, doctorzap & flambay. Your work is appreciated! Very Happy

I see now what was cut from the soundboard version of Dynamo Hum.
Interesting. hmm
Were the nasty bits removed for radio broadcast?

No plans for radio broadcast here to my knowledge. Parts would have been missing from the SBD where the tape ran out on the source cassette, most likely.
