Thanks alot!!!

Seems the '70-'71 era is a bit underappreciated --- but not by me --- I could take about 24 hours straight of Magdalenas & Sofa Suites!!

Thanks - although I have an analog of this I was just thinking that it would be worth upgrading to CD.

Thank you! I've been looking for this concert! I'm with hothcanada, the F&E era is great.

I love the F&E era. The comic rutines can get annoying at times, but the harmonies FZ was able to coax out of F&E are more than worth it.

Thanks Sanjuro!
BTW, this should be the show (early?) at the end of which FZ was thrown off stage, isn't it? And six days before the band equipment went lost in the Montreaux fire...

Thanks for the reseed. Did not index it in my database and then a download is faster (i hope) than trying to find it somewehere on one of those dvd's.

I always thought it amazing that supposedly Frank's and the audience taper's tapes ran out at nearly the same time. I haven't listened to it for a long while but reacall this giving out at some point during Frank's King Kong guitar solo but before the released section on YCDTOSA #3 . I wonder if people reacted to it when Frank was pushed off the stage. Did the audience see what happened or were they all being way too heavy?

It was actually six days after; someone says at the begining of King Kong "WE all know what happened last time we played this."

Wow..I never thought about that, Mathematically King Kong was usually the longest song at this time so any random event was likely to happen during it. Luckly, subsequent and often lengthy performances of the tune brought no known disasters.

With the minor exception of the soundboard being ruined when a fan spilled a drink on it during the Beacon Theater NYC 2/6/88 show... Smile
