Note: This is an updated torrent fixing a speed correction error in Advance Romance. If you have downloaded the first one, please see the second post.

Finally we have all four of FZ's shows in Japan on the tracker. There are three sources of this show available. Two, from my collection and from blackpage's, are similar - mono and upfront sounding. Since my source is more complete and has more consistent speed than the blackpage (which covers 90 minutes of the show from the Inca intro to early in Chunga's) I have presented it here, but it is possible we will seed the blackpage version later.

The third source is from Drew and is more distant and dark than the others, but is in stereo, and we will also have this seeded in full soon. In the meantime, you can hear parts of all three sources here.

The following files from the first torrent have been changed:

- Track 11 Advance Romance
- text file
- ffp file
- torrent title (show now runs 136.26 rather than 136.25)

Please delete the first three files and download the ones here, and change the folder title to reflect the new total time, and you should become a seeder of this new version quickly.

Thanks to Flambay for catching the speed mistake, and my apologies for uploading a flawed version earlier.

Nice to have this, thanks!! This was a tough one. Seems many are like that these days. I must say though we have mananged to look at a lot of versions. This show has taken us years to get right. Thanks for putting this up, ZT's is the best!

it truly is great to have this. There was a thread with other comments and thank you's but it got deleted. Must of had something to do with the torrent needing to be fixed..

Thx a lot,

that was some fast reacting on my request.

On a side note....Why are Zoot Allures and Ship Ahoy not in pitch with the official release ?

More than 1.3% difference to detect.

Perhaps Flambay could check but in some cases official releases are at wrong speed, especially when they are from the 70's four track analog recordings.

Or even the 1980s UMRK studio recordings - witness sides 1 and 4 of You Are What You Is.

Pitch "correcting" against official releases will result, oftentimes, in a final product that isn't exactly "correct". "Pitch adjusting" would be a more accurate term for that particular pursuit. Sometimes Zappa deliberately switched the pitch (portions of the 84 Money remix), other times it was probably inadvertent, but either way, it won't reflect the music as it sounded the night it was performed.

True. (In fact the entire YAWYI album is off pitch. The suggestion on the Zappa Patio that only sides 1 and 4 are off is incorrect.)
