Hope I read well that these were the tape flip songs in the Dog Breath tape.

Wavelab doesn't work so these are the complete songs
Thank you DLHotch at TDK for keeping all those versions in the vault

The second tf is during the crowd noise before Joe's Garage.

That's correct - the 2nd tf is during that crowd noise. The Dog Breath version cuts in about 2 secs before Frank says 'Thank You'.
And there is a 3rd cut during the crowd noise between Why Does It Hurt When I Pee and Sharleena.

Thanks for these fills.

I will check the third flip and post why does it hurt or sharleena or both tomorrow

I think you can fill the second flip with the crowd nois before Joe's garage

Hope someone else starts the dl. Seems I don't connect with you.

If this other source is decent, I would love to get a full seed of it!

I wouldn't be suprised if it has been heavily NRed.

Well if that is the case, I can wait till a rawer version turns up. I still have a number of collections coming my way, so one never knows...

Well I can fix that i found a copy of this 2nd source in the Proudfoot cassette collection, and it sounds JUST like the dog breath source! I thought for sure the tape flip was an overlapping one, as I cannot tell the difference, i was waiting to hear the break in KIG, but it never came...Yes!! I didn't check these samples, but best wait till i can compare a little closer.
It's a great sounding alternative version, we should do also! My thought is TA may have just by accident mixed his masters up with other copies, and this 2nd source is his, it sounds so much like the dog breath source. Like they were right next to each other...

So to tell, Side B should have a complete Keep It Greasey, and start in the middle of Bobby Brown. If this is the case, you have the source #2 non Dog Breath source.

Ok
Great you have a known gen of this source.
What is the thing with his evil highness btw
Everytime I try to help out, it might be NR?
Is this a bengofury thing or is it the fact that I'm from outside the incrowd?
Just dl the sample and check it.
Damn

Sorry, kind of lost it there.
Just trying to help out.

OK, I had a chance to compare, and i would say this version sounds better. FA looks good to me also, mine is close, but slightly duller sounding. i say go with this fill, and yeah, if FA is OK, we should for sure do this one. Very nice, and low gen no doubt. If a slightly duller version would fit the MC better, then i can sample my copy. It almost sounds the same, just slightly less brighter then this. This source is a very nice sounding source. Deserves a seed for sure!

Frank, I do not have a known gen, it is also unknown, and i think this is better. We need it. FA looks fine to me, Looks like a lossless, untweaked source to me. Of course I could be wrong, though I doubt it. Mine also has no or little hiss, i can confirm the sound, can/will sample, but it doesn't change the fact this is clearer.
I'm certainly interested in a copy that is for sure! You have helped us many times with the stuff from T___. Many times we didn't use it, or still on hold, but that help was very needed. We needed to compare, could not go forward till we did so, and you made that happen many times.

I wouldn't call this version 'heavily' NRed, just a bit maybe, above 20 kHz.
And if this sounds OK for Drew, compared to his 'more lossless' looking FA,
I'm fine with it too.
OTOH a sample from that 2nd gen Drew copy wouldn't hurt either, for us to compare. Wink

FA (Keep It Greasey):
blue line - BengoFury
orange - Dog Breath MC (diff. source)

I am fairly certain noise reduction can only be seen with spectrum analysis

if used lightly it will not show up on freq analysis !
