So far, I'm having a preference for this version, compared to BengoFury's and to Kristoftof's samples.

Less distorted (vs. BengoFury) and less hissy here (vs. H-K).

Speed here is also mostly OK, or very close, within a 10-20cts range (Pound, Sleeping).

A case where less is more! Seems it's harder to tell, and volumes being different and all, it's not easy to really tell what is better. At least for these ears which are not getting any younger.

I think I too, do like this better. I have 2 copies, the other is not as good, and adds nothing. This one, note, is on II-S tape. Probably brings out highs a touch.

Bengo's side 1 though is not that bad, sounds good, maybe better? Side 2 though clearly does not at least near the end. This is a more consistant sounding version. It's on server when ready.
I think we can get more out of this with EQing your stereo too.

The trouble with my tape is the distortion, nothing to do about that.
