OK, this appears to be the same as my first gen. But mine is not on 60 minute tapes, and it sounds better to me. I have not compared sound to other versions. Appears we have at least three versions, maybe four. I suspect the same will be true for the 1988 02 27 show. i have not sampled that yet, but it is transferred. I have yet to look at 1988 02 28. I have three sources for that one.
Anyway I conclude, best not use this version. This taper's version is what was on the tracker at one time.
That sounds better too, as it is the same tape I just transferred this time with the Nak, last time with A Sony. The Nak version is superior to all transfers so far. other opinions certainly welcome. My samples are here
