I noticed that this version has "it's the blimp, Jumbo" instead of "Frank." Perhaps a "Jumbo Go Away" connection here?

Almost certainly, particularly given Denny Walley's presence in this band.

I'm not so sure about that. I thought the Jumbo event occured on the Fall 78 tour. It's been about 10 years, but I remember Watson's book giving an account of this. I guess the Jumbo event could have originated during the Bongo Fury tour, but that wasn't my impression. Anyone have details on the Jumbo story?

A guy I know who talked to Denny said that, yes, the "Jumbo" in FZ's song was a woman who was following Denny around during the fall '78 tour (which is also the story FZ tells in a couple of 1979 shows). But perhaps there were other "jumbo"s before that.
