1980 01 16 Swedish Radio - Nightflight interview 6.49 FM (Hoosac92-CR)

This is an upgrade to the current seed at Zappateers:
- much better sound
- an introduction by FZ
- speed corrected

Questions in Swedish. Frank explains parts of the BB lyrics.

The date on my tape (and also on Drew's tape) is 1980 01 15. I left the date as is since the BengoFury seed and the Catalogue both list it as 1980 01 16

Lineage (Hoosac92): unknown gen
Maxell XLII90 > Chunga's Revenge > Nakamichi CR-1E 2-Head deck > Sound Blaster Live! 24 bit >Soundforge 6.0 transfer, speed correction -30% after 0.15, normalizing, editing > FlacFrontend level 8 with ASB flac.files > you
Taped by: unknown
Provided by: Hoosac92
Transferred & edited by: Chunga's Revenge

Thanks to the unknown taper.
Thanks to Hoosac92 for providing the tape.
Thanks to flambay for speed correction advice.

Enjoy!!!

thank you!

if the date really is 80 11 15 then the catalogue/earlier seed dates should be changed, not the other way around.. but maybe that's nitpicky i dunno Smile

Also, perhaps they can tell us:

Who is the interviewer?

Was this a re-broadcast? In my notes, I seem to have the date March 7, 1979, for this explanation of Bobby Brown.

That's the date given in the info for GSW 20 <http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=10946>.

So which is correct?

But why would FZ be explaining about garage bands before Joe's Garage was even recorded? So I guess January 1980 is much more plausible.

But I'd still like to know the name of the interviewer and the correct spelling of the show title. I think I've seen Night Flight, Nightflight, and Nightflite. (Not to mention that Miles cites it as Nightlife!)

Trying to keep my footnotes accurate...

According to Bengt's transcription <http://home.swipnet.se/bengt-jonsson/zappaint.htm#Bobby>, his name is Ola. Does anyone know his last name?
