There are still a few DVDs to go in this collection ... I thought this one being in German should be seeded as a stand alone DVD then if an upgrade appears, it's easy to remove from the tracker.

The quality is very good and was collected by Al Fresco and passed on to me for branding & seeding and hopefully there'll be something you've never seen before and it'll help if your Deutsche is good ... there's no overdubs to the music though Laughing

1993 07 11 ZDF TV: Amerikanische Träume [45.06]

Credits:
Collected by: Al Fresco
art & design - unicrayon with some help from Michelangelo Buonarroti
Intro music: Ed Palermo Big Band (Grand Wazoo & Finale)

Unicrayon's notes: German overdubs - Amongst others, Chuck Berry, Elvis, John Cage, Philip Glass with the Pierre Boulez and FZ section marked as chapters.

Also, forgot to give props to Al Fresco, sorry!

I need some advice here... this is the only one of the AlFreso vids I havent d'loaded... 'cause the talk of German overdubs "scard" me off... not sure if I want to spend ratio and hard drive space on it if it is something Im not going to watch. Can I ask? Is it good? What is on it? How much music, and is it anything I dont already have music-wise? I could burn and delete some of the other AlFresco's.... but I kind of want to leave them seeding as long as I can (ratio eh?)

The Boulez/FZ section is 24.07-29.29 on VTS_01_1.VOB, if you just wanted that section it's still 1024 Mb out of the total 1530 Mb so not really worth leaving out the rest - The clips are the usual 'arty' montage of footage and interviews, some of which you'll have seen, some you might not have. The voiceovers aren't too bad or too often.

?! When downloading a torrent I wouldnt know how to only grab one section (this is possible?!). I wouldnt do that anyways.... if I decide to d'load it I would take the whole thing.

It is possible with UTorrent. When you open the torrent to download, a box appears showing the contents. Just untick the files you do not want to download. I'm not sure about other torrent programs...
