Thank You to entmoot, flambay, unknown taper, and the rest of The Zappateers!

Very Nice SQ and a quality second set! (I had to check out the rare Uncle Remus--but the rest of this set is great as well!) I do enjoy the early-in-the-tour shows from '88 quite a lot it seems!--especially with a mix as can be heard on this one: FZ's guitar loud in the mix, and Chad's drums not too loud [& overbearing]! Wink

also found it interesting to hear the segue-way from Black Napkins straight into the Texas Motel Medley, without FZ introducing it and giving some background infos. The few of the other early-in-the-tour shows i've heard (probably not too many compared to most Zappateers!) seem to have Zappa introducing this medley as "our world famous Beatles medley with the words changed..." or something along those lines.
I guess the shows i've heard it was done either as one of the encores, or as a set opener. It must have been somewhat surprising to those in attendance to suddenly hear the famous melody of Norwegian Wood, judging from the reactions of those that can be heard around the taper!

Four songs here in this 2nd set with nice long FZ solos: Good Stuff!!
