9+8 HR+BWS NL REPRISE D 116/0 1972 S 2LP "FZ & The MOI" / Dutch Book Club Pressing / Contains the LPs HR and BWS

I've seen a lot of these D 116/0 but a 2LP I really doubt that.

So do i, but it was listed in some discography, hence i put it in here as well. Guess the time has come to move it down to the maybes and mark it as non-existent Wink

thanks for the update Hasi, cool!

Like HR and some other releases there is a german TELDEC-TELEFUNKEN-Decca pressing

GER REPRISE RS 6370 1970 S LP Brown Reprise Label: square "r", TELDEC-Telefunken-Decca / FOC: unknown

would have a really shity picture of it if needed.

this UK got overlooked, it probably fits in after the re-stickered RSPL-6370/K-44083 3-tone label.

UK REPRISE RSLP 6370/K 44083 1976 S LP Brown Label: No 'Made in UK' / FOC: unknown

9+10 BWS+WRMF FRA REPRISE WE 312 1975 S 2LP 2 Originals Of The M.O.I. / existence unlikely

I can immagine where the rumour/misunderstanding comes from. The 'WE-312' is of course not the catalogue number
but The 'thing' that appears on the back of some later releases where it says FRANCE: WE 312.
Could also be a WE-312 sticker on the back.

Because there is a french issue.

9+10 BWS+WRMF GER REPRISE REP 64024 1975 S 2LP 2 Originals Of The M.O.I. / FOC / Sacem / contains the LPs BWS and WRMF

there seems to be at least 4 different german '2 Originals of The M.O.I.'

you're right of course with the date of the UK RSLP 6370 / K 44083.
I usually just copy a already existing entry so I don't have to write the
full line while making adjustments. Didn't pay much attention to the date.

Just checked my german copy of '2 Originals of the M.O.I.' again...

This is actually more confusing, and there may be even more variations.

side-1: GEMA, LC0322; rim: German-English: ALLE URHEBER- UND ….., no Factory or Licensee
side-2: GEMA; rim: English-German: A REPRISE RECORDING…, WEA

Matrices of the 4 sides are a bit confusing too:

side-1: WEA (hand) 030975 (stamped)
side-2: WEA (hand) 030976 (stamped) 64024 1B (hand)
side-3: WEA MS-2028 31083-1 A (hand)
side-4: MS-2028 31084-1 64024 D (hand), also a scratched out'Re1' and something barely readable like B-1D or B-1A.

Not sure yet if side-3 and 4 are relevant, as it's a different record/disc, but it may be.
But there is definitely 3 label variations in this 'double' already.

I've also seen this odd 'behaviour' on some other releases. R&E and ZINY spring to mind.
At first glance it looks like this oddity only appears on german Discreet pressings.

Hope more collectors will check their copies and add more to the confusion.

a minor point of ?interest? - my 1st UK [UK REPRISE RSLP 6370 1970 S LP 3-colour Reprise Label: PYE (blacked out), Typo: IGOR'S BOOKIE.. / FOC: Dist. by CBS; Garrod & Lofthouse, circular "r", "w7"/GZ: Ref. 46-8] has the RSLP prefix on the spine, labels and matrix, but RS on the front, under the circular "r", "w7". Everyone else's does also, I'm quite sure, but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere.

It might get mentioned if a copy with RSLP on the front surfaces (which i think is very unlikely). So far your observation is not necessary to distinguish different pressings.

I have that issue too (but with a Burnt Weeny Sandwich album package - maybe not that strange, but so far I've only seen the "2 Originals" series as a fold out 2LP set with this cover artwork: http://www.lukpac.org/~handmade/patio/vinylvscds/images/2originals.jpg). Maybe someone mixed them up...dunno.

Does your B-side also say 21:52 for "Little house I used to live in"? This information is wrong, the duration is 18:42 (like it is and says on any other issue, vinyl or CD).

ah, dammit... I didn't recognize one of your posts above showing one B-side with the same misinformation...
