Frank Zappa

3-May 1980, Music Hall, Boston, MA

Late show: 104 min, Aud, A-

Watermelon In Easter Hay, Teenage Wind, Harder Than Your Husband, Bamboozled By Love, Pick Me I'm Clean, Society Pages, I'm A Beautiful Guy, Beauty Knows No Pain, Charlie's Enormous Mouth, Any Downers?, Conehead, Easy Meat, Mudd Club, The Meek Shall Inherit Nothing, Heavenly Bank Account, Suicide Chump, Jumbo Go Away, If Only She Woulda, I Don't Wanna Get Drafted, Don't Eat The Yellow Snow, The Illinois Enema Bandit, Ain't Got No Heart, Love Of My Life, You Are What You Is

-----------

Show provided by Jerome by audio-cdr mail trade
(the present day zappa trader refuses to day).

Taped by; unknown audience
Ripped to wav by: Jerome (itunes)
Tracking only (shntool): av
No Audio modifications

--------------

Track list here avaible is a little different from Naurin's one: after the second tape flip (during Drafted) you can hear a final snippet of Why Does It Hurts (that's not in Naurin list).

Here starts the first encore with Yellow Snow and The Enema Bandit.

Last 3 songs of Naurin set list here are missing.

Audio quality here is maybe something less than A- but still enjoiable. I'm sure there's somewhere a better version out there.

Notes

!] = cut at the beginning of file (music missing)
[!] = cut in the middle of file (music missing)
[! = cut at the end of file (music missing)
] = cut in the beginning of file (no music missing)
[ = cut in the end of file (no music missing)
# = not on Naurin setlist

More Notes

Fist tape flip occours at about 3:59 of Conehead.
Second tape flip occours between Drafted and Why Does It Hurt.
Another cut is between Why Does It Hurt (end of regular set list) and the the first song of the first encore (Don't Eat The Yellow Snow) - no music missing here.

Drafted -> Joe's Garage -> Why Does It Hurt was an usual closing sequence of the regular setlist for this band, so I won't be so much worried by the fact that Why Does It Hurt is not on Naurin set list.

Last three songs of Naurin set list (Ain't Got No Heart, Love Of My Life, You Are What You Is) are not available here.

This is the last seed I've made from a batch of shows recently traded by Jerome, mostly previously unavailable, at least for us at TDK (including both shows of 81.12.12 San Diego, 70.12.08 Dusseldorf and 80.05.02 Providence).
I'd like to really thank Jerome for his efforts to provide us new material contacting collectors that still are not involved in E-trading.
Pheraps audio quality is not always as good as it could be, but, what the heck! I hope one day master tapes will surface.

Thanks Jerome (and all the other people feeding the zappa trading community).

Hey, I know Jerome has made another trade in these days....

Hey, I know Jerome has made another trade in these days....

would be great if some more people make tradional snail mail trades with all the stuff they grab here, since those who are digitizing are very busy with doing it.

i know one who hasnt the time to tell his trading partner what he wants back, because of this time problem Wink

many thx again to the zappa scout, always busy getting new stuff clap clap clap
