Notes: Tracking based on main subject, not question. Since this is so
long it must be tracked. Tracking by tape side made no sense
here.
Fills from all versions were used. It was tough going to all 4 and I
lost track and my notes as to what version I used for what tape flip!
Sorry fills are not marked. Sound changes with fills. Little of no EQ
to match was done, some was done. I stopped at adding hiss to match!
First second of track one from Mr. UMRK version. Whole last track from
Pbuzby version (track50).
Over 150 ticks, pops, and flaws removed one at a time. Overlaps removed.
The blackpage version was decided as base as it is the most consistant
version. All of them could have been the base. At times other versions
sound better, but sound changed so much with them, Quaility was
inconsistant. I opted for the Blackpage version. Which pretty much
sounds the same throughout. Also the only version with known lineage.

Credits: Thanks to Blackpage, Bengofury, Mr UMRK, and Pbuzby for
the tapes, transfers and source material Thanks to BigdaveJ and others
who helped get this to the masses.
Thanks to Dennis, Rob, and Eric for a great capture!
Jim Nagle for arranging interview.

All cuts were on all versions. This is the longest known version now. The most complete.

Nice! Big Thanks! I have the transcrible somewhere. Was a tough read (and I need reading glasses). This will find it's way to my FLAC player, no doubt.

Glad to see this finished. Amusing to read the terse track titles after knowing what is discussed on the tapes. Epsecially on the last track.

Yes I took liberty here and named tracks. I also faded the music in the last track. I debated with myself about that, but felt it unprofessional to leave it cut. I faded it quickly, I didn't hear anything past fade that was relevant. One must listen closely, a little private joke is told too, for old trader's who knows the guy Den mentions. I guess he too had trading problems. Yojimbo needs to hear that!

To me the most importabt thing about this version is that it is about 11 minutes longer then any other. Nobody has heard it all. So here it is. One might listen and not notice though as we are talking tape flips. One version was missing 1:30 at the first tape flip. A question at least!

What did mister Zappa had to say about me?

(10) A. West (3:11)

'And I just want you to know that tonight, I love him anyway. Because I've got love in my heart, and I'm not afraid of the fact that he's turned this into some kind of zoo up here.'

O and before I forget, thanks guys for this up!
