I remember the first version that was seeded: it was unlistenable due to the variable speed. This one will be at least an upgrade in some kind of way. Many thanks!

It would be fun, just for a laugh, to know how much you had to change speed, Flambay Smile I suspect it would be something like "pitch bending between -400cts and +150cts" Laughing

Also, are we sure it's a battery fatigue? I mean, the tape should speed up at the end, not slow down (I'm just being totally pedant I know Razz ). I rather suspect that the original master got damaged

Anyway looking foward to hear this, it was the only MOI show my ears could not listen to

cheers

Thanks for seeding a very important consert. (Important? Yes it is The Mothers)
Remember there is a big difference between kneeling down and bending over.

I always found that to be part of the charm of this tape for some strange reason. Anyway, great to have this "somewhat" speed corrected. Must have been a lot of work as this tape was bad.

Kind regards,

I'm listening. Flambay did a GREAT job. Finally I can listen to the show without having to puke. It is still somewhat shaky, but nowhere as annoying as before. I'm sure glad there is such thing as Zappateers. Not only tapes are preserved from being lost, but in cases like this are also salvaged. I bet no one had hear the show in this quality before (maybe only in the late 60s if my "master damaged" opinion is correct). Long live Zappateers!

Thank you, Jon, for sharing your tape!
Thank you, Christian, for saving it!

( I do admit having some sympathy for the guy laughing near the mic Razz )

Zappacheers!
