I went back to the h/d to check what I had on this. As mentioned many times before of how I label folders, I noticed this one did not have any complete/missing/non-zappateers/vinyl etc description. I only had 4 of the songs from who knows where. Thank you for fixing a problem here, one I had completely missed all this time. Can not wait to see what other goodies are to follow.

Thanks! This is totally great!

Early show? I was too young by a couple of years to catch this one but I eventually saw dozens of concerts at Wollman's Skating Rink. I don't remember there ever being more than one set by each artist, on any particular night in this open air venue in Central Park. There are noise & crowd curfews for public parks. I could be wrong of course. Maybe they held an afternoon set & an evening set back in 1968.

Probably this show took place on an afternoon, or maybe even on a late morning.

You will hear Frank say "Thank you very much - we'll see you (at the) second show ..." at the end of 13 Go Cry On Somebody Else's Shoulder,
and in 16 Outro the EmCee is closing off this show with the words "Fantastic !... Music for a sunday morning ..." Perhaps he was just joking.

Maybe this will start off a discussion about the actual date of this show: 1968 08 03 was a Saturday. hmm

This may mean that when The Mothers finished the act it was early in the morning (like 2 AM) and so the EmCee said "Music for a sunday morning". That's only a clue, though

cheers
