I am liking it. It's cool. Simple and poignant. Good cover for a set of CDs. It'll make a nice t-shirt, too. Which will go well with the line, "I am advocating dark clothes." Also it'll rub nicely against the FZPTMOFZ cover, if you keep them together, creating a sort of a cosmic kiss.

I'm wondering...

The article notes FZ masters of the original orchestra sessions. Any guesses if these discs are being touched up for CD by another engineer. In other words, are they going to be another salvo in the Loudness War, or will they preserve original dynamics?

The Hot Rats could in addition, as a sweet little Bonus Rat disc, include whatever live material there is in the vault.

Oh yes, please, Sir. Dallasman wants Twinkle Tits!

Interesting that Gail says in the Vanity Fair article that WOIIFTM was intended to be a Zappa solo release.

the more I think about this, the more I think it makes sense in a way. FZ does almost all of the vocals on the album (it's hard to tell because they're virtually all processed), and Ray isn't on it at all! I always forget that.

The cover reminds of The Band's Moondog Matinee

This would be nice! I never even knew new bass and drums were added? Interesting...

There is an excerpt (I don't know if it's the same one that's on the sampler LP) in the Speaking Of Music radio show seeded here.

Cool, thanks for the link!

Looks like I may need help from some seeders though!
