The only reason why I seed this here is, because this boot has on some
tracks more music than the zappa show that was seeded here before by
walk and BF.

1974 05 08 Edinboro, PA 121.46 SBD (walk-BF)
http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=2117

It's of course the SBD source, but IMO with a totally different edit
and soundquality.

Decide for yourself ...

Here an example:

Zappateers version:
"How Could I Be Such A Zowie" ends with Nappy's words:
"... Every happiness in the world belonged ..." --> Fade out

Boot version: (longer)
"How Could I Be Such A Fool" ends with Nappy's words:
"... Now I shed my tears in lonely ..." --> Fade out

One day I will compare sources. Sbd originates from Zoogz Rift, and he made me a copy. Probably the best we will get. Zoogz obtained from a band member so

FZ>Band member>Zoogz>Drew51 So a 3rd gen tape.
Bet it blows them all out of the water...

I think that means the Zappateers version is longer.

Ouups, thanks but NO - my mistake (edit error) - but this was already corrected in my thread.

The request list is long, but it is on it, tapes pulled out...
Btw I think this is worth posting for one to liberate and you never know it could be a different dub line. So i'm grabbing it. I know my copy has cuts, and if it matches the shorter cut i will approach Blackpage to check his copy as he also has a copy from Zoogz. Maybe Zoogz was not careful when dubbing?? More info when it comes up in the rotation to transfer.

drew51, as you say your copy has "cuts", do you mean drop-outs?

'cause the boot has some little drop-outs here and there.

No tape flips, It's been a long time since I listened to tape. I also remembered I first obtained a copy from blackpage, so i can check that too if any different.

Ah yes, the second reason: IMO the over-all soundquality of this boot is better.

Our Zappateers version has a kind of distortion on the higher frequencies,
and the music seems to be more compressed.

I'm curious about the first opinions of our experts in frequencies-analytics. Very Happy

I think the speed should be also different ...

Many thanks for upping this. One of my all-time favorite shows, especially the last 30 minutes or so. I've rarely heard FZ's band reach this level of menace in their overall sound.
