In that thread Cekman stated...
"This is so insignificant it's practically microscopic, but since we're all nitpickers here: I've got a version of this on cassette that's about 10 (count 'em, 10!) whole seconds longer at the beginning. It fades in with a speedy snatch of the Dog Breath Variations before veering into the electric disasters that start this version. So now you get to suffer in the knowledge that this version, terrific-sounding though it is, is not really complete! Moo hoo ha ha! "

It is now!! It's possible this very tape was used for that boot. I guess it was a touch long.

Ye gods! I should have known that no scrap of music, no matter how small, would long evade the detection of the intrepid Zappateers. Thanks, Drew and Flambay!

While I'm at it, an enormous thanks to everyone who contributes! I've been severely derelict in giving props, but the hard work and dedication of the community here continues to amaze me.

Thanks for pointing out the fact it was incomplete. Certainly motivated me. Still incomplete but all that is known should be here now. Not quite sure it's 10 seconds, but it's more for sure.
This is about the same quality, a touch better I think?

Say, I just had a thought. Has anybody ever tried editing the two bootleg sources of the show - this and the short audience tape - into Ahead of Their Time? The result couldn't be seeded here, of course, because it would incorporate a whole official release, but it might be fun to put most of the concert together in sequence. There's Gas Mask off of Weasels Ripped My Flesh, too. And if a person really wanted to be anal about it, they could use the Mystery Disc to restore a few small edits in the Progress suite, too.

The only problem is, what is the correct sequence? The audience tape starts with King Kong and ends with Pound for a Brown/Sleeping in a Jar, but doesn't include Help, I'm a Rock or Transylvania Boogie in between, so those tracks must be out of sequence on AOTT. Hmm.

Thanks for this. Hugely appreciated... have always loved this version of "Uncle Meat".

Indeed it would be interesting to try and assemble a more full length version using AOTT , MD, Weasels and the 2 audience tapes - don't forget the "Uncle Meat" video soundtrack too on which you heard the proper ending of the orchestral section instead of it being edited into "King Kong". But as also pointed out, this would be problematical since there were 2 shows that night so which versions would belong to which? FZ wouldn't had helped either since AOTT would be a collage of both performances so I'd guess there would be all manner of tricky edits and gaps throughout. Though I'm doubtful it will ever happen, I live in hope that someday the ZFT will release a package containing all the music recorded on this fascinating night.

King Kong [6:49-7:29] on AOTT equals Gas Mask [0:00-0:40] on Weasels. However, the audience tape reveals that the rest of Gas Mask (until 3:40) represents what actually happened after this point at the show, while at 7:29 in King Kong on AOTT there is an edit to material not heard on the audience tape or SBD.

At 1:58 in Transylvania Boogie AOTT rejoins the portion of the show from the audience tape, starting with the closing D chord of Mr. Green Genes and continuing through the percussion improv, Pound and an edited version of Sleeping In A Jar. FZ chose to leave out the jam in Sleeping In A Jar, editing into the Water Turn Black medley from this SBD instead.
