Captain Beefheart
1975 10 19
La Fête Rouge
Halles de la Villette
Porte de Pantin

01 Dali's Car - 0.48
02 When It Blows Its Stacks - 4.29
03 My Human Gets Me Blues - 2.49
04 Alice In Blunderland (beginning) - 0.15

AUDience recording by BULLE75;
audience tape recorded with now unknown equipment
using an AGFA SM super-ferro-dynamic 90+6 cassette.

Here posted for zappateers archive:
Extract of the untracked Captain Beefheart part of hanwaker's transfer
seeded on Dime as "cpt beefheart 07.flac = 07 cuts in /cuts out"
uploaded to Dime: Topic # 188209 - March 2008.

Lineage as given on Dime:
Transfer: master cassette played back on-nak cr7e- azimuth corrected--> edirol09-->
HD-- cd wave--nero smoothing-- flac(Cool

For the complete recording (including some additional Dr. Feelgood and Little Bob Story stuff):
Please check http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=188209 .

Now tracked and renamed by kanzia to meet zappateers naming conventions.

Additional Lineage:
Original flac file as seeded on Dime > flac frontend > wav > tracked: nero wave editor 3 > 4 wav files renamed > flac frontend level 8 > flac > zappateers

Trader's Little Helper: Test wav files for mp3 = "track looks like CDDA with probability 100%";
ffp, md5, & st5 checksums created.

--WARNING--: This sounds not that good = it was rated "C": The vocals are lousy and
distorted; the bass is only a boom but the drums are nice; a typically "bad" stone age tape.

Thx to Bulle75 for recording, and hanwaker for uploading to Dime. Unpatched file from Dime stored in separate folder.

There are no seeds on the Dime torrent at the moment, so thanks for this.

That's the reason why this was posted here at Zappateers. The Dime torrent will be pulled in a foreseeable space of time due to inactivity. Of course it's the complete Beefheart stuff of the Dime seed which was re-seeded here.

I wouln't rate it a C. That seems a bit harsh. Maybe a B- would be more fair?
