Thanks to Bigdavej we have this gem from Reitman's own collection. It sounds like an FM recording with some FM noise. Otherwise a very nice recording.

Interesting in this interview Frank forgets meeting Bob in 1968. Yet once again is in a similar good mood as the 68 interview. Frank must have formed a positive impression of this guy both times they met. Are of the same age too. That helps.

Thx for sharing, drew.
One hint please: 721510 WZMF Menomonee Falls WI 01 interview.flac should be renamed, because description and folder tells us the date "1973 05 10".

Hehe, hey i'm dyslexic, this is going to happen again. Good catch. before ton's jumped on I fixed it. You will need to re-download torrent. Delete or rename files you have, sorry. Thanks so much for posting so fast, you saved us another headache. This is about my 25th torrent, and I have yet to get one right yet...
I had to change one file, the FFP file as the incorrect date was inside, so i edited file and put in correct date. Only 1kb, so no big deal. The others are the same, just renamed.

This is a great interview and I'm glad to ditch my MP3 of it. Too bad the Mahavishnu/Mothers jam never happened...or did it? Thanks for sharing guys!
Does anyone remember if this is the time/location when Daryl Sturmer was introduced to FZ and Co? I remember reading an interview many years ago where Sturmer mentioned meeting them and I believe he said it was in Milwaukee. OR did I just dream that?
By the way, since this is the night after the killer Passaic show, any one interested in putting that show on discs will know that you need three. I used two double jewel cases and had this interview on a fourth disc. Yeah I know its only 30 mins but it is the conceptual continuity that counts.
Kind regards,
Overnitefreak

Yeah these interview are great filler. I should do that with shows. Like when we did 7-31-84 AZ shows, I had 7-30-84 Phoenix interview, and like the shows also first gen. From the taper! I will do that one soon. In the future i will look at doing that.

Frank's mood in interviews, many times, can be attributed to the interviewer. This guy seems to be serious-minded and showing the proper respect. Frank usually returns the behavior in kind. I think FZ earned a bad rep due to being interviewed by so many schmucks.

Bob Reitman was one of the best-known DJ's on free-form album-oriented FM rock radio in the metropolitan Milwaukee area during the 1960's and early 1970's. There was also a station, WTOS-FM, that played this type of music but it shut down shortly after I became aware of this form of programming.
WZMF was my favorite station. Unfortunately, it eventually was shut down. The station signed off with Break On Through by The Doors and the Star Spangled Banner by Hendix; the first two songs played when they initially began broadcasting years earlier. It was a sad night hearing my favorite station go silent. Reitman sounded quite choked up that night, minutes before the station went silent.
WZMF still lives; if only in the minds of diehard fans of the radio station such as myself! _________________ Truth flies like and arrow
