Thanks Flambay, you have become so important here. Down to only one more master clone, but I'm going to try and find others, you can bet on that! Well Zappa, master clones of Ensemble Modern, Banned From Utopia, still waiting to break out....OK, I forgot about the Munich 80 KBFH promo LP's, a master of sorts, not the boots, the real promos...one day....for now we will look at the audience....

Just a side note, when I recorded this I kept the deck running. It was extremely interesting to hear the conversation with my wife for about 40 minutes, as we left the venue and drove home (after 2nd show). a 23 year old conversation. Pregnant with my daughter, our 2nd child, now a musician/artist/conservative/future lawyer, her first concert BTW! She was kicking up a storm, as told in our conversation, which is not included here, for my ears only. Andrea my daughter just left for work, who is also a senoir at Wayne State University, damn i'm getting old...

Thanks, well maybe the masters are coming to an end, though i think we should some time revisit the 88 masters. I still have about 50-70- first generation tapes, so we are are just starting here, you better not go anywhere!! One I need to do fairly soon is Detroit 78 a 1st gen. It's a "C" recording, not very good, but super rare, and recorded by a legend Veron Fitch. If you are a Pink Floyd collector and never heard of him, shame on you, you're not a serious collector then! Vernon is from Michigan, lived in Lansing where I used to live. Went over to his house to get this one, Over a decade ago he moved to Florida, and is still somewhat active in Pink Floyd circles. Another great Michigan taper.

From catalog:

1978 09 28 Detroit, MI - Aud 125min B-
not available
note: never seen

Well we are just going to have to change that!!! I was at this show, awesome! Not the best 78 show, but to see that band was just great! I love that band!

Just for truth in advertising, this show was very average. The only interesting part really was when this gorgous babe ran on stage and hugged Zappa. Bald headed John as unable to stop here, she got him good. John removed her, but not before a few sqeezes of that nice ass she had...It happened during the last song, hence the change in lyrics...
Other highlights may exist, it's been a bit since I had a good listen. I was about in the 15th row dead center. For the late show, I was in the first row, it was a problem as i had to cover one channel, and we may need to do a mono version, it is really mufled. Or maybe just use Pat's master. One of Zappa's security people was only 4-5 feet from me. I'm very proud, I could still record right under his fucking nose!!! I got up walked down the aile (my back to stage) to flip tape, turned right back around and sat down.-Take note newbie stealth tapers...

We usally keep all torrents available, so all the masters are still here, I just don't like the edits, and pitch on one. What i meant by revisit.

What is "conservative" ??

We have two main thoughts here in the USA. That one can take care of one's self, or let others do it for you. The traditional meaning is one who believes in past traditions and methods.
Today the word means so much more. Frank called himself a practical conservative. To me the major difference is a conservative is one who believes in individual rights over group rights.
Others see it as meaning something else, but that's their problem.
A good example is seat belts. I believe we have the right to be stupid, and not wear one while driving. But the government thinks otherwise, and it is the law we ALL have to wear one. My individual right not to wear one has been taken away unless I'm willing to commit a crime. Soon we will not be able to smoke, again same kind of thing. I have heard arguments that we cost others more by smoking, which is total bullshit. The sooner I die, the less medical expenses I incur. If I smoke and die at 60, or don't and die at 90, believe me 30 more years of seeing the doctor is going to be more expensive then if I die at 60. At the end all means will be used, and trying to keep a 60 year old with cancer alive does not cost anymore then keeping a 90 year old alive with say prostate cancer. Both are very expensive, difference is 30 more years of x-rays, and cat-scans, and drugs, and whatever else I need to stay alive. We all die, and nobody is ever going to convince that living till 90 is cheaper then living till 60.
I myself do not wish help from anybody, the government, or whatever, just leave me alone as Frank said "Do what you want, do what you will, just don't mess up your neighbor's thrill" which of course I agree with.
Another example is taxes. The group thinks it knows better what to do with my earnings, and taxes the fuck out of them., taking about 55% counting all taxes. I believe I know better what to do with my own money. I'm willing to pay for what I use, the roads, public services, protection by the fire dept., police, and military. Sure, I owe them for protecting me. But no, besides that my money is used to kill babies, build projects I will never use, line pockets of people I don't even know. Used in ways I would never use my money.
Most people here do not agree with me. But again their problem. So people who believe what I do are called conservatives, and my whole family agrees with me, my wife, my son, my daughter.
All Libertarians are conservative, some republicans, some democrats. I have been called republican, but that is just not true. Parties do not define my own beliefs. Most republicans are not really conservative, so i certainly would not call myself one. Almost all democrats are NOT conservatives, so no not one of them either. Independant is a better term, as even some libertarians have beliefs i disagree with. So I look at all and vote for those who most represent my beliefs, which is usually Libertarian. I have yet to vote for a winner, but I sleep well at night.
