Metropolis Orchestra Video - 05 08 06 - Zappanale 16
2h01m

video ASF/WMV 320x240 pixel
audio 16bit stereo,44kHz,766kBit/s
webcast -> HD -> torrent

The second of many Zappanale 2005 webcast captures.
A group of great Italians from Milano, featuring Napoleon M. Brock.

Think of these videos as trailers for the official ARF Society and band DVDs and CDs!
You know you want them, so buy them here:

Enjoy!

Some more technical poop that applies to all Z16 captures:

The webcasts were captured straight to HD, so they are RAW and unedited, some shows have a few seconds missing at the beginning.
Because the internet streaming slowing down sometimes, there are some video glitches once in a while but the audio is solid throughout the whole reording.

When playing the files with Micros~1 mediaplayer I noticed some clicking noises.
I recommend VLC media player, which does not produce any extra (free) noise (thanks Bill) and is available for every OS under the sun.

Question There are a few video files that I need to edit because they are too big and contain 2 shows plus tons of "Umbaupausen"
To do that I will have to convert them to another video format. There are two options, AVI/divx or MPEG - let me know what you prefer!?

Enjoy!

MPEG would be the best format, giving everyone a chance to burn VCD/SVCD to watch in a stand-alone player. Some never players do support AVI/DivX, but most doesn't.

I am using a mac and mpeg is the best for me to burn VCD/SVCD from. Making VCD/SVCD from AVI/DivX isn´t easy if it´s even possible on a mac atm.

OK, MPEG it is then.

ASF/WMV is a compressed media format and I will try out a bunch of converters to see and hear which one delivers the best results.
Any suggestions for a good conversion program for XP or OSX are most welcome!
