script (born 1965) likes:

(older stuff)
Genesis (pre Collins)
Gentle Giant
Tom Petty
Talking Heads
Fleetwood Mac
Lou Reed
Beatles
Fischer Z

(newer stuff)
Nick Cave
Green Day
drumīn bass
Skunk Anansie
Big Country

as this band was not mentioned often some of you may like Gentle Giant. The best albums are from the beginning up to "playing the fool" - the Live album. http://www.blazemonger.com/GG/index.html

And sometimes I like to listen to "Klassikradio". Its on the web too:

One of my favorites! "Three Friends" & "In A Glass House" are highlights. There is a great live recording from the Hollywood Bowl in '72 that is amazing. I never got to see them live, but my brother did in '75 opening for J.Giles Band!

Kind regards,

Hey Script. Yes, I have that Long Island show on a disc called "Interview In Concert" on a label called Glasshouse Records. It says it is from "Hgrpstem, NY" but obviously a very butchered misspelling of Hempstead. Great show. Ray Schulman was a monster bass player!

The other torrent is interesting, but I have all the original releases on vinyl (including an original release of the first album) and then any of the more recent releases on CD. "Under Construction" was a fantastic release. The recent DVD offerings are great too. Nice to upgrade all those old VHS tapes! Smile

Kind regards,
Overnitefreak

Script, that is one and there also is a DVD of their '78 performance on BBC. Not the best era for them but they're still rockin'!
