These guys have been releasing FM radio shows on heavy weight vinyl for the last few years in the weird copyright bootleg/pirate/fan recording situation in Europe... the two most recent are Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention Live in Paris 1968 and Live in London 1968 the last show of the tour and the BBC appearance respectively. I was given copies of them by a friend they are available at record stores and Amazon for 13.99.
The records sound very good to my ears and are beautifully mastered and pressed. The sound is fuller than that on the tracker versions it possible that they got hold of a different source an earlier version of the FM recording in Paris or the BBC Tv show? is there any way of telling that its from here?

incidentally the other Zappa boots in the keyhole catalogue all sound poor in comparison to the Tracker versions so AVOID.

For the Paris show, our info.txt says "Lineage: SBD master->1st gen Sony Metal-XR cassette->HD->SoundForge (speed correction, level adjustments on right channel in a few spots)->FLAC Frontend"
So if the track lengths are exactly the same, it could be, unless someone else made exactly the same speed correction! You could always look for differences in the right channel levels if you wanted to investigate further.
