While searching for information on other non Zappa recordings Ruth Underwood may have appeared on, I happened upon a Jasun Martz. According to his discography he appears on Zappa in New York, as synthesizer programmer, percussion & vocal overdubs, I found no credits on any of my Zappa in New York covers nor is he credited on iink. Can anyone confirm this?
Also any known Ruth non Zappa recordings info please

To find more about Ruth's non zappa work, you can use the discogs discography

https://www.discogs.com/artist/257647-Ruth-Underwood?filter_anv=0&type=Credits

Or unimuta's site

I don't know how much of that is true.

To my knowledge so far he was working as Eddie Jobson's keyboard technician during his Zappa days. Him singing and playing on Zappa In New York would be new to me.

I have his album "The Pillory" which has Ruth and Eddie on it.

I found this on the IINK site, in the notes section of the chronology 1976

Jasun Martz interviewed by Laura Thompson, FAQ Magazine (from jasunmartz.com)

Quote:
As far as Zappa goes, I used to be a synthesizer programming wiz-kid and so I toured with him for a year or so. He had this HUGE synthesizer set up for Eddie Jobson that took me literally half a day just to tune. It was a great tour and Frank and I got along really well and I learned a lot from him. I recorded some interesting percussion and vocal overdubs for "Zappa, Live In New York".

BTW Martz did an album called The Pillory which includes Ruth Underwood and Eddie Jobson
